Let\u2019s remember the concrete block that fell from the 17th floor of a building on Boul. Ren\u00e9-L\u00e9vesque last May in Montreal and that of July 2009 which crashed on Peel Street, causing the death of a woman.<\/p>\n\n

It is good to remember that we are obliged to prevent unfortunate incidents like these. Moreover, law 122 states that it is the responsibility of managers to have their buildings inspected by professionals on a regular basis. This precaution ensures the safety of citizens and reduces the impact of criminal responsibilities if an accident occurs.<\/p>\n\n
